Have a question? We may have the answer below in our FAQs
How do I get the confidence to test myself, let alone my kids?
It is easy to look outside yourself for help and think that other people know better what is right for you. You may have lost trust in your ability to help your health, but it is your body and only you know what is right for you. Kinesiology returns you to yourself and helps connect you to your intuition. Keep practicing and the more you get answers that work for you, the more you will trust yourself and your confidence will grow and blossom.
What if I have a condition not listed in the book?
You can research and make your own scan list relevant to any condition and use the muscle to testing to ask what your body needs. I have recently purchased a book and been using the techniques at home.
I now wish to learn more about Kinesiology where should I start?
You are welcome to book into one of our Self-Testing or Testing Your Child workshops live with Elizabeth or one of our team around Australia. Or download the one of our Videos to complete these workshops in your own home in your own time. If you are feeling really passionate then the Foundation Course in Kinesiology is right for you now to take your skills to the next level.
I have purchased an ebook and can’t seem to be able to download it?
Make sure you are downloading the ebook from a device that supports pdf documents ie a desktop computer. Most mobile phones and tablets will not support file downloads. If you haven’t received an email, try checking your junk mail or spam as depending on your email client it might turn up here. If you’re still having problems then please send us an email with information on what device you tried to download the file on, and any screenshots or error messages you may receive.
Who are the Kinesiology courses suited to?
From short to long courses there is something for everyone. We train men, women from all walks of life. Some are already therapists looking to expand their skills, some are retired and want a new stimulus now they have more time, many are mums looking to have a career where they can work their own hours. Interestingly we have attracted a lot of people from the corporate sector who are looking for a new career and lifestyle change as they have suffered burn out in their own professions. You need to be over 16 years of age to complete the Foundation or Diploma course but everyone is welcome on the workshops.
I have my own health issues can I use this course for my own healing journey?
Some students attend the Foundation or Diploma courses as a ‘workshop only program’. Every week you learn pieces of the puzzle that make up ‘YOU’ and you receive many treatments with the other students making the course very healing on a personal level. You do not need to be assessed or complete home study if you just wish to use the knowledge shared for your own personal health. You will receive a certificate of attendance but not a qualification to practice Kinesiology. We also offer morning workshops for your self and your family which are very beneficial for working on your own health issues too.
There are so many branches of Kinesiology why should I study Progressive Kinesiology?
Progressive Kinesiology is a very holistic branch of Kinesiology and you will receive equal training time in the 5 main areas: Oriental diagnosis, The chemical body, The structural body, The emotional body and The energy body. This way you will have a great grounding in all areas ,which will help you specialize in your clinic. For example some graduates love the nutritional chemical approach and may choose to make this the focus of their practice, others love the emotional clearing techniques and will attract clients needing this level of work. Many graduates enjoy the structural muscle techniques and go more into the sports, injuries and alignment area. The choice is yours but you can be assured that you will have a good grounding in the holistic approach so you feel confident working in any area.
How is this course different to other Kinesiology courses?
The content of the Kinesiology Diploma courses are radically different. You need to research which type of Kinesiology best suits you. Our course is very holistic and guarantees a fair and equal coverage of all aspects of a person’s health and well being. With any course in natural therapies make sure that the course you chose is Government accredited with a Recognised Training Organisation. This will show that the course has been scrutinized to ensure it meets the appropriate guidelines. Our course offers a high standard of training, which is measurable by the results of our students. In the future it will become harder and harder for students of non-recognised courses to practice as laws in the natural medicine industry are tightening. There are many courses offered where you do not receive a recognized qualification and will not be able to gain insurance to practice, let alone healthfund status. Please ensure you are completing a recognized Kinesiology course to safeguard your future in this industry.
Is the course registered for VET fees?
The course is currently being assessed for VET fee eligibility and we hope to hear back with approval very soon.
Is the course registered for Austudy?
If you are eligible for Austudy you will be able to get some financial assistance whilst studying the Diploma course. The Foundation and Workshops are not available for Austudy.
I am currently a therapist of another modality will Kinesiology fit into my business?
Totally! Many of our graduates include herbalists, massage therapists, homeopaths, naturopaths, physiotherapists, nurses and even 2 GPs have completed the Diploma with me. Here are some testimonials from them:
“Studying Progressive Kinesiology was that missing piece in my practice. Kinesiology now gives me all the answers to the patient’s health problems. My treatment approach has become much simpler, yet a lot more effective as Muscle Testing allows me to directly identify and treat the underlying cause of the symptoms. As a result of this, my Clinic is now thriving more than ever before.” Connie Page MNHAA Dip. Phyt.,Dip. ProKin. Herbalist, Kinesiologist
“I have found learning Kinesiology has brought a whole new dimension to my practice. Not only has it helped confirm treatment plans it has given clarity on which modalities the patient most needs, which saves time and brings great results for the patient. I think all practitioners would find uses for Kinesiology in their practice.” Margaret Stattman N.D Coolum Naturopathic
Do you offer online training?
Our Foundation and Diploma programs are only offered face to face. This is very important and we do not recommend distant learning for Kinesiology. We have some workshop material that is offered on line and some of the course work for the Foundation and Diploma modules can be completed via distance but you will still need to attend some face to face modules in Noosa, Queensland. When are classes held? All our courses are part-time, one or two days a week. Classes are held during term times between the hours of 9:30am and 2:30pm. They are structured to allow easy access for parents to be able to attend without worrying about school drop offs and holiday care.
Is any prior learning I have done in this field taken into account?
Absolutely! We don’t want you to have to repeat any subjects that you have already been assessed in. We use a recognized prior learning system to work out what qualifications you already hold so you can get credit for them.
Will I be able to find work after I graduate?
Kinesiology is one of the fastest growing therapies in the world. More and more people are seeking to improve their health naturally and the demand for Kinesiology practitioners is expanding. Many of our graduates start their own clinics from home or rent rooms in multi-disciplinary clinics where there may also be chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists and naturopaths. Because Kinesiology is s holistic and can help a wide variety of health issues there will always be people we can help. You are given training on how to manage a practice and how to promote yourself as a Kinesiologist and there are many leading figures in this industry constantly promoting Kinesiology for the benefit of us all.
When I graduate will my clients be able to claim on their health funds if they see me?
If you complete the full Diploma of Kinesiology and the related core subjects (see prospectus for details) you will be able to join the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and are recognized for eligibility with most major health funds. If you just wish to complete the Kinesiology units alone you are recognized by the International Institute of Complementary Therapists to gain insurance to practice Kinesiology only.
What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is the science of muscle testing to find imbalances in the body’s energy systems. Pronounced Kin-easy-ology it is one of the most holistic therapies available to you today. It is a non-invasive simple technique that involves you placing your arms and legs in specific positions while gentle pressure is applied to them. From the results of these muscle tests, the cause of your imbalance can be found. For more information about this amazing modality please download our free ebook here:
How will I know if Kinesiology is right for me?
Before your session you can read testimonials from other clients. My books are full of case studies of where this has worked for others.
As the treatment may involve lifestyle changes and dietary supplements you will need to ask permission from your doctor or consultant where appropriate.
What do I need to bring to a treatment?
Please bring along any medications, vitamins or supplements you are taking. Also if you wear a perfume regularly please refrain from wearing it on the day of your session but bring the bottle along with you. It is helpful to bring a list of your medical history, any accidents, illnesses etc…, and also a list of the issues you would like Elizabeth to work on. It is easy to forget some of the lesser symptoms you may suffer with so please write down every single niggle – even if it looks like a long list!
What conditions can kinesiology help?
Elizabeth is highly experienced in treating clients suffering with:
• Digestive problems
• Aches in muscles and joints
• Skin complaints
• Hormonal symptoms
• Learning Difficulties
• Emotional trauma and Stress
• Anxiety and Depression
• Weight and Body image issues
Do I have to take my clothes off?
No you remain fully clothed throughout. We recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing. Trousers or shorts are most suitable.
Will it hurt?
The muscle testing will not hurt at all. Your practitioner will check with you if there are any muscles you are unable to move easily before and during your session. Your comfort throughout your session is our highest priority. Sometimes you may need a particular reflex point massaged. These points can be quite tender. Most clients find this is a “nice pain” as it is clearing a blockage. Elizabeth will check how gently or deeply you would like the massage if your body asks for this.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually one session is all that is needed and unless Elizabeth really feels that a particular part of a treatment needs more work, you decide if and when you need another session. You are learning to listen to your own body! Most clients return regularly to work on their health but it is entirely up to the individual how many treatments they would like. A one off session can be extremely helpful and there is no pressure to follow up unless you want to.
How much is a session?
Fees are $195 per treatment, of which $60 is payable at the time of booking.
Health fund rebates are applicable. Check with your health fund if you package covers Kinesiology.

How long will I wait for an appointment?
Elizabeth generally has a month’s waiting list for clinic time. You will be able to be referred to another Kinesiologist that Elizabeth has trained should you wish to be seen sooner.
I am unable to travel to Peregian Springs, Sunshine Coast for a session. How can I find a Kinesiology practitioner nearer to my home?
Please contact us and let us know where you live and we can refer you to a qualified Kinesiology practitioner in your area.
How will I feel after a kinesiology session?
The majority of clients leave a session feeling lighter and happier. Some people report feeling a bit tired and it is great if after your session you are able to sit and rest for an hour rather than rush straight back to work. Any healing crisis that may occur after specific treatment protocols is minimized with our kinesiology correction methods so symptoms should not get worse before they get better. You will receive advice on life style changes and “homework” such as saying an affirmation or massaging a particular spot or avoiding certain foods. You will discuss with your Kinesiologist what is acceptable and doable for you and you can work at your own pace. Corrections will be made specifically for you and you will leave your session with an individual program plan to go away with and put into practice. You will be inspired to take care of yourself and overflowing with ideas of how to do this.
